Description
1889 Chicago Stock Exchange Building designed by Sullivan & Adler. This classic office building was demolished in the early 1970's. Louis Sullivan was famous for his archway entrance. Note: because electric lighting had not been used in office buildings at that time, the windows were designed to allow the maximum amount of light into the building.
