Art is my peace, my quiet, my refuge, my relaxation, and all of my creations are hand painted; I don't use any digital programs beyond scanning my canvases into my computer. I took one year of art in high school as an elective and was quite a prolific artist up until the age of 20, but life got in the way, so I put it aside. In 2007, I got the urge to pick up the brushes again, and I couldn't shake it until I began to paint once more. I enjoy working with watercolors, ink, pastels, acrylics, and oils, always based on what I feel will best communicate my current subject. At the moment, it's a part-time occupation, but I hope that it becomes full-time soon! I also hope that you enjoy my work! Thank you for your interest in it!
